Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro+
Best ValueThe 12/512 monster that undercuts everything around it - this is the value king of 2026.
Is it worth it in the UAE?
The value pick on this page - 12GB RAM and 512GB storage at a price point most rivals can't match. It won't outperform the Snapdragon 8-series phones above it in benchmarks, but for everyday use, social apps and casual gaming it covers the basics well below flagship money.
Should you buy it?
Buy it if you want the most hardware per dirham on this page and you are willing to spend twenty minutes cleaning up the software. A 200MP stabilised main camera, a 6500 mAh battery and 100W charging for around 1,470 AED is not a fair fight on specification. Skip it if you want a clean Android experience out of the box, because that is exactly where the money was saved.
What you actually get
The battery. 6500 mAh, using silicon-carbon cells to fit that capacity without the phone becoming a brick. That is the largest battery on this page, larger than the OnePlus 13R, and reviewers report it comfortably clearing a full day for most people. Pair it with 100W charging and you go from flat to usable in minutes.
The main camera. A 200MP sensor with optical stabilisation. In good light reviewers find it genuinely sharp and detailed, particularly for landscapes and architecture where the resolution earns its keep. This is the headline feature and it holds up.
The screen. 6.83in AMOLED at 120Hz, and the largest panel on this page. Gorilla Glass Victus protection, with IP66 and IP68 dust and water resistance, which is unusual at this price and genuinely useful in a country with sand and pools.
Storage. 512GB with 12GB of RAM as the listed configuration. That is four times the base storage of phones costing twice as much.
The software, which is the catch
This runs HyperOS, and reviewers are consistent about two things. It is stable, and it is cluttered with preinstalled apps and advertising in a way that Samsung and Google phones are not. Most of it can be disabled or uninstalled, and plenty of owners do exactly that on day one and never think about it again. But it is a real cost, and if the idea of ads inside system apps irritates you, this is not your phone.
Update support runs to four Android versions and six years of security patches. That is shorter on OS versions than the Galaxy A56 at a similar price.
Who it is for
The buyer who reads spec sheets and wants the numbers to be as large as possible for the money. Heavy users who kill batteries. People who take a lot of daylight photos. Anyone comfortable spending a few minutes turning things off after setup.
The honest downsides
The supporting cameras do not match the main one: the ultrawide and the selfie camera are both noticeably weaker, so this is a one-good-camera phone rather than a system. The software clutter is real. And four OS updates against the A56's six means it ages out sooner, which matters if you keep phones a long time.

Price and value in the UAE
Around 1,470 AED. Judged purely on hardware it is the best value phone we recommend, and it is not close: nothing else at this price gives you 512GB, a 6500 mAh battery, 100W charging and IP68. The Galaxy A56 costs slightly less and is the better long-term buy on updates and resale. The honest way to choose between them is to ask whether you would rather have better hardware now or cleaner software for longer.
