The short version

Short answer: a 10-core i7 and an RTX 4050-class GPU at around 3815 AED, with a 300-nit 144Hz sRGB panel. The strongest CPU under 4,000 AED here. Whether it is worth roughly 815 AED more than the TUF A15 depends entirely on whether you need processor performance or just frames.

Is it worth it in the UAE?

The Nitro V is what you buy when the laptop has a second job. If it only plays games, the TUF A15 does that for less. If it also compiles, renders, edits video or runs anything that loads every core, the i7-13620H is a real and repeatable advantage rather than a spec-sheet flourish.

Performance, realistically

The i7-13620H is a 10-core chip and the most capable processor on this page under 4,000 AED. Against the 8-core i5 parts in the LOQ and Victus, the gap opens up in exactly the places you would expect: sustained multi-threaded work, background tasks, anything that does not politely wait its turn.

The GPU is RTX 4050-class with 6GB of VRAM, which is the same tier as the TUF A15. That is the important thing to understand about this laptop: the extra money buys CPU, not graphics. Gaming performance is broadly comparable to the TUF. 1080p high settings in most titles, medium in demanding ones, ray tracing only if you enjoy disappointment.

16GB of DDR5 and 512GB of NVMe storage are standard. The 6GB VRAM ceiling is the same texture-quality limit as the TUF.

The screen

15.6-inch FHD IPS, 144Hz, around 300 nits, roughly 100% sRGB. Brighter than the TUF and the Victus, with accurate colour. Alongside the LOQ, this is the best of the sub-4,000 AED panels here, and the brightness advantage over the TUF is visible in a well-lit room.

Cooling and the climate

Dual fans with quad exhaust, which is a proper design and necessary given the i7 has more heat to shed than the i5 machines. Quad exhaust vents heat in four directions rather than dumping it all out of the back, which helps in the cramped desk setups most people actually have.

At roughly 2.2kg it is the lightest of the gaming laptops here, which given the stronger CPU is a reasonable piece of engineering. The ~57Wh battery is mid-pack and will not survive gaming unplugged, same as every laptop in this category.

What you are giving up

Money, mostly. Around 815 AED more than the TUF for the same GPU tier. No Thunderbolt. A 720p webcam. Single-zone white backlighting rather than RGB, which is either a downgrade or a relief depending on your view of keyboards that glow.

The chassis has no military-standard durability rating, so if the laptop is going to be carried roughly, the TUF is built for that and this is not.

Should you buy it?

Buy it if your workload is CPU-heavy as well as graphical, and you want the brightest good panel in this price range.

Do not buy it if gaming is the only job. The TUF Gaming A15 delivers the same GPU class, better cooling and a tougher chassis for meaningfully less. Paying extra for an i7 that games identically is a common and expensive mistake, and this is exactly the decision where people make it.
