Every New iPhone in 2026: UAE Prices and Release Dates

Short answer: three new phones. iPhone 18 Pro from AED 5,099, iPhone 18 Pro Max from AED 5,499, and the folding iPhone Duo from AED 8,499. Preorders for the two Pro models open on Saturday 12 September. The Duo waits until 16 October.

The prices, all in one place

Every one of those figures is the 256GB model. All three phones also come in 512GB, 1TB and 2TB, and the jumps between tiers are where the real money disappears. If you are buying, decide on storage before you decide on model, because moving up two tiers costs more than moving up a model.

When you can actually buy them

The UAE is in the first launch wave for all three, which is not always the case, so there is no waiting for a second round of countries this year.

iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max

The headline feature is variable aperture on the 48MP Fusion Main camera. That means the lens physically changes its opening rather than faking depth of field in software, which is a genuinely different thing from the portrait mode blur every phone has been shipping for eight years. Whether you care depends entirely on whether you shoot deliberately or just point and press.

Underneath is the A20 Pro with a new vapour chamber, which Apple describes as the highest sustained performance in an iPhone so far. Sustained is the word that matters. Peak numbers have not been the problem on these phones for years; holding those numbers through a long recording session in a Dubai summer has been.

Battery is the upgrade most people will actually feel. Up to 36 hours of video playback on the 18 Pro and up to 45 on the Pro Max, for the eSIM only models. The Dynamic Island is smaller this year. Four finishes: black, silver, glacier, and a burgundy that is new.

Trade in credit runs from AED 640 up to AED 3,260 for an iPhone 13 or later, which for a lot of people is the difference between this being a 5,099 purchase and a 2,000 one. Worth checking before you pay full price.

iPhone Duo

The folding one, and the reason this launch is interesting rather than routine. A 7.6 inch inner screen, a 5.4 inch outer screen, both at 120Hz, with the same A20 Pro and a battery split across the two halves. It is eSIM only, rated IP68, and it costs about 3,400 dirhams more than the Pro Max.

Where to preorder

Both Pro models are open for preorder at Apple, and the iPhone 18 Pro has now turned up on Amazon.ae too. The Duo stays Apple only until ordering opens on 16 October, and we will not point a buy button at a page that does not exist.

The two Pro models share one preorder page and both can be ordered today. The Duo page is live with its full price ladder, but ordering only opens at 4pm UAE time on 16 October.

Buying today instead of waiting? The outgoing model has dropped since the announcement and the gap is now worth taking seriously. The iPhone 17 Pro 256GB is about AED 4,179 on Amazon.ae, roughly 900 dirhams under the launch price of the new Pro, and the 17 Pro Max 256GB is about AED 4,566, which undercuts even the base 18 Pro. Unless you specifically want the variable aperture camera, the outgoing pair is the better value buy this week.

Which one should you actually buy

If you want the best camera for the least money, the iPhone 18 Pro at AED 5,099 is the answer, and it is not close. The Pro Max costs 400 dirhams more for a bigger screen and nine extra hours of video. That is a reasonable trade if you watch a lot on the phone and a waste if you do not.

If you are upgrading from an iPhone 15 Pro or newer, sit this one out. Variable aperture is real but it is not a reason to spend five thousand dirhams when your current camera is already good. From an iPhone 13 or 14, especially with trade in credit applied, the jump is large enough to justify itself.

The Duo is for people who specifically want a folding phone. It is a first generation product at a premium price, and first generation hardware is where you pay to find the problems. Fascinating device, poor value, and both of those things are true at once.
