Most pages with this title quietly bust the budget by a thousand dirhams and hope you do not add it up. Here is a list that actually fits, followed by two bigger builds for when it does not do what you need.

The trick at this budget in 2026 is skipping the separate graphics card. Memory pricing has made a discrete card build impossible under 2,000, so this one uses a processor with graphics built in.

The build that fits: 1,979 AED

RAMTimetec 16GB DDR4 3200 (2x8)441 AED
SSDAcer FA100 256GB NVMe195 AED
PSUGameOn SPY2 650W 80+ Bronze175 AED
CasedarkFlash DK300M mATX149 AED

Total: 1,979 AED. Every one of those was in stock when we checked on 4 October 2026.

What you get. The 5600G has Radeon graphics on the chip, so there is no separate card to buy. That is the only way this budget works right now. It plays the esports titles most people actually run, comfortably at 1080p: CS2, Valorant, Fortnite, Rocket League, Dota, League. Older and lighter games are fine too.

What you do not get. Current big budget releases at 60fps. Cyberpunk, Starfield and anything in that bracket will need settings turned well down and will still struggle. If those are why you want the machine, skip to the builds below and accept the higher number.

Two things to know before ordering. Buy the memory as a two stick kit, not one stick, because graphics built into the processor gets a large chunk of its speed from dual channel memory. And 256GB of storage fills fast, so plan on adding a second drive once two or three games are installed.

Why not just add a cheap graphics card

Reasonable question, and it is the first thing most people try. Swap the 5600G for a cheaper chip without built in graphics, the Ryzen 5 5500 at 424 AED, and the rest of the parts come to 1,595 AED. That leaves 405 AED for a card.

Here is everything that budget reaches on Amazon.ae, and why none of it helps:

CardPriceVerdict
GT 710 2GB / GT 730 4GB199 to 245 AEDDisplay adapters, not gaming cards. Slower than the 5600G graphics.
HD7670 4GB198 to 209 AEDA 2012 part rebadged. Same problem, worse.
RX 580 8GB Mining Edition360 AEDEx mining card with no warranty story. Not something we will recommend.
RX 550 4GB553 AEDOver the leftover budget and still slower than the 5600G.

The cheapest card that genuinely beats graphics built into the processor is the RTX 3050 6GB at about 899 AED, or the RX 6600 at about 1,020 AED. Add either to that 1,595 and you land at 2,494 or 2,615, which is 494 to 615 over the number in the title.

So at exactly this budget, the machine without a separate card is the faster machine. Paying 250 AED for a GT 730 would cost you money and frames at the same time. That is the whole reason the build above looks the way it does.

If you want a separate graphics card

Both lists below buy you real gaming performance in current titles. Neither fits in 2,000 AED, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

The AM5 list, about 4,845 AED

SSDPNY CS2230 500GB NVMe269 AED
PSUCorsair CX750 750W 80+ Bronze268 AED
CaseCooler Master MasterBox Q300L235 AED

Estimated total: about 4,845 AED - more than double the 2,000 AED this guide is named after, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Prices above were checked against live Amazon.ae listings in October 2026.

Both memory and the graphics card are pricier than when this guide was first written. A 16GB DDR5 6000 kit sold for around 180 AED back then and now sits near 1,099 AED across every brand on Amazon.ae - see our coverage of the DRAM price climb - while the RX 7600 EVO graphics card alone now runs about 1,920 AED. Together they are most of the overshoot, and no parts swap avoids either one.

To actually spend near 2,000 AED today, you are looking at a used or previous-generation platform rather than this parts list. DDR4 is the honest answer: an AM4 board with a Ryzen 5 5600 and 16GB of DDR4 costs a fraction of the AM5 equivalent right now, and at 1080p the difference in frames is small. This page stays live as a record of what a new-parts budget build genuinely costs in this market, which is the number you need before you start shopping.

The DDR4 list, about 3,059 AED

If you want the cheapest sensible gaming PC in this market rather than the newest platform, you drop off AM5 entirely and build on AM4 with DDR4. Every price below was read off a live Amazon.ae listing on 4 October 2026.

ComponentPickPrice
CPUAMD Ryzen 5 5600528 AED

CaseCooler Master MasterBox Q300L235 AED

Total: about 3,059 AED. Swap the 5600 for a Ryzen 5 5500 at 424 AED and you land near 2,955 AED, losing very little at 1080p because the graphics card is the limit in almost every game at this tier.

That is roughly 1,786 AED cheaper than the AM5 list above, and most of the saving is memory. Two caveats before you order: stock on the graphics card and the memory kit was down to single figures when we checked, and AM4 is a finished platform, so this board is the last CPU socket you will ever put a chip into. You are buying it because it is cheap today, not because it has a future.

Why a discrete card build cannot hit 2,000

The 1,979 AED build at the top of this page is real, and it is the answer for most people. What it does not have is a separate graphics card, and that is not a detail we are hiding: with one fitted, the honest floor for new parts in October 2026 is close to 2,955 AED.

Memory and the graphics card are both the reason. A 16GB DDR5 kit sold for around 180 AED when this guide was first written and now sits near 1,099 AED, and the RX 7600 EVO graphics card alone now runs about 1,920 AED. Every brand moved together on memory, so no parts swap avoids it, and GPU pricing is out of our hands too.

If you specifically need a discrete card inside 2,000, there are two routes and both cost you something:

We would rather say that plainly than publish a parts list that does not add up at the checkout.

What the discrete card builds can do

The AM5 and DDR4 lists land in the same performance bracket. The 8GB of video memory on either card is the real ceiling, not the processor, and it is the thing that will age first as games keep raising texture requirements.

Where to spend the next 1,000 AED

If your budget can stretch after the initial build, the order that buys you the most is not obvious, so here it is plainly:

  1. A second SSD. 500GB disappears after three modern installs. This is the upgrade you will feel every week.
  2. A better graphics card. Everything else in both lists is adequate for years. The card is what decides your settings.
  3. More memory. 16GB is still workable in 2026 but it is no longer generous, and going to 32GB is painless on either platform.
  4. A better monitor. A 1080p high refresh panel makes the frames you already have feel faster. See our monitor guide.

Do not start with the processor. On both of these builds the graphics card runs out of room long before the chip does.

UAE buying tips for this budget

Honest verdict: This build is the "starter" build. It'll run games, but you'll be turning settings down. If you can stretch to 3,000 AED, the jump in quality is massive - see our 3K build.

Buying this in the UAE

Before you order, double-check three things: the motherboard socket matches the CPU, the case has clearance for the GPU's listed length, and the PSU wattage leaves headroom above the GPU's rated draw - don't cut it close. Keep every receipt; UAE consumer law gives you a minimum 1-year warranty on new electronics, and your Amazon.ae order history doubles as proof of purchase if anything needs an RMA. Component prices move weekly, so treat the totals above as a target, not a quote - check the live price on each link before you commit.

Common questions

Can you build a gaming PC for 2,000 AED in Dubai?

Yes. The build at the top of this page comes to 1,979 AED using a Ryzen 5 5600G, which has graphics built into the processor. It plays esports titles at 1080p but will not run current big releases at 60fps. If you want a separate graphics card, the floor rises to about 2,955 AED.

Why are the other two builds on this page over 2,000 AED?

Memory and the graphics card. A 16GB DDR5 kit sold for around 180 AED when this guide was first written and now sits near 1,099 AED, while the RX 7600 EVO graphics card alone now runs about 1,920 AED. Every brand moved together on memory, so no parts swap avoids it, and GPU pricing is out of our hands too. Those lists stay on the page because they are what a discrete card machine genuinely costs today.

Is DDR4 still worth buying in 2026?

For this budget, yes. AM4 with DDR4 saves you roughly 1,786 AED against the equivalent AM5 list and gives up very little at 1080p. The trade is that AM4 is a finished platform, so the board you buy is the last chip socket you will use.

Should I buy a prebuilt instead at this budget?

Worth pricing, because prebuilt makers buy memory in volume and are less exposed to the current pricing than you are. Check our prebuilt guide and compare against the totals above before deciding.

Do I need to buy a CPU cooler?

No. Every processor listed here ships with a stock cooler, which is adequate for a 1080p build that is not being overclocked.
