Arctic P12 PWM
Value KingA 120mm case fan with a pressure optimised blade design, sold for about the price of a sandwich.
The short version
Short answer: the fan to buy in quantity. Five of these cost less than one premium fan and will cool a case properly.
Pressure optimised means it suits radiators and filters
Fans are built either to move a lot of free air or to push air through something restrictive. This one is built for restriction, which makes it the right choice on a radiator, a dust filter or the front of a case. That is where most fans in a build actually sit.
Speed control
The PWM version lets the motherboard vary the speed with temperature, so the machine stays quiet at idle and only gets loud when it is genuinely working. Fans without that control run at one speed forever, which is either noisy or insufficient.
Being honest about it
It is not silent, and at full speed it is clearly audible. The bearing is good but not in the same class as the premium option below. For most builds those are the correct compromises to make.
Who it suits
Buy it if you need to fill a case with fans and the budget is the constraint. Six of these costs less than one premium fan and the difference in a normal case, at normal speeds, is far smaller than the price gap suggests.
Skip it if the machine sits next to your head and silence is the goal. These are quiet for the money rather than quiet in absolute terms, and at full speed you will hear them.
What to buy instead
The Noctua NF-A12x25 at 156 is the reference point for quiet and costs more than twice as much per fan. It is worth it for the one or two positions that matter, such as a CPU cooler or a radiator, and hard to justify for the rest of the case. A sensible build uses both.
Buying it in the UAE
Cheap, consistently stocked and often sold in multipacks that work out better per fan than singles, so check before adding five to the basket separately. Dust is the real enemy in this climate rather than heat alone, so pair these with a filter and plan to clean them a few times a year.
